Fishing on Lake Kab has been great the last few years. Since the slot went into effect the walleye fishing has been phenomenal. 40-50 fish a day is not unheard of and the average size is in the 3-5 pd. range. Big northern pike and smallmouth bass have always been a draw for Lake Kab fisherman and, if you know where to look, the crappies on Lake Kab grow huge. Stop in and see the stringer on the wall at the Rocky Ledge to get an idea of just how big, these are Red Lake sized fish. Ice fishing on Lake Kab is some of the best(and least crowded) you'll find in the country.
