Whether you are taking the family fishing or running 3-4 foot rollers on Lake Kab on a camping trip, the Lund Tyee delivers.
It's like a family entertainment center with years of new adventures and shared experiences just waiting for you. This is one of the most popular Lund boats in history because it fishes big, travels easily, and handles like a dream.
I
have been fishing out of my Lund 1750 Tyee for about 9 years now and
have never used a better built boat. The hulls on the Lund''''s are as
well constructed as you will find. The layout of the Tyee is great,
making fishing out of them a breeze. These are as good a boat as you
will find for rough water and give an exceptionally smooth ride. I
think I see more old Lund Tyee's on the water than any other brand,
with many 1970-1980's models still being used.
Lund
has brought back the fiberglass boat to it's line with the 186 TYEE GL.
I saw quite a few of these on the water last summer and was impressed.
I had the chance to get in one at the boat show and could see that it
was typically Lund quality. I'm sure they ride nice in the water being
fiberglass (and heavy) but towing might be another matter. I can tow my
TYEE aluminum with either my Jeep Wrangler
or the wife's Ford Escape. I don't think either would handle the new
fiberglass 186 TYEE GL. The following is a description of the 186 TYEE™
GL from the Lund website (which, by the way, has some great computer wallpaper you can download).
